Pcm questions
I've been trying to research about Pcm swaps. What would be my options for my late '99 4x4 auto to shift like my '02 4x4 auto. Can i put in the same pcm as my '02 (DPC-462) into my 99? From what i've read it sounds like tuning from a chip wont do it. So I'm just looking for some options. Thanks

Tuning from a chip should change the shifting to suit your needs. It may not be in stock form, but many tuners offer live tuning or at least custom tunes if you can describe to them what you're looking for and they understand what you're talking about.
Lot's of changes in the electrical system and wiring happened in 2002, so I wouldn't think you could stick an 02 / 03 PCM in a 99 - 01 model.

I'm sorry you went through the expense of a TS in search of better shifting - the TS has to be sent to a tuner every time you want a change. Many of us have chips that receive tunes by email - and that investment includes the ability to have the tunes tweaked without additional cost. When our trucks were new, they were pretty much clones - but now they all have "personalities" due to treatment, age, and miles. It behooves a chip shopper to acquire the hardware/software to first make sure there is nothing wrong with the truck - then get a chip/programmer with the ability to email tunes.
Custom Tunes link in my signature is worth a click, and I have the Hydra as an example.
