Start-up voltage
Two good batteries and glow plug relay. Brand new glow plugs. Turn key; voltage only reads about 9. Truck usually starts, volts stay that low for 30-40 seconds (lights are dim, accessories are slow). Then a slight "click"; volts come up to normal and everything is fine! What is it?? This issue makes for tough starting

Is volts on both batteries at 9? Glow plugs do draw 100 amps of so upon startup
If the drivers side isn't being pulled down then you might be running on one battery
Check the battery grounds to block and clean them, also make sure your pos cable is good.
Did you scrape the cable ends? lead corrosion is clear so you cant see it.
