Hey guys I know some of you use some of the obdII scanners that also allow you to have read outs on most everything we need to keep track of on our PSD's I have a Hydra chip on my PSD and want to have all the necessary information on things like trans temp, egt, fuel pressure, boost, etc. I just have no idea which is the best one out there. Can you guys offer up brands models and the pros and cons? I know some have their own small screens and some are wired/Bluetooth for tablets/phones
If you want EGT and Fuel Pressure you will have to install gauges for those. For trans temp, boost, and all the other factory installed sensors that connect to the trucks computer I use a vgate bluetooth OBD adapter with Torque Pro app on an android tablet. Some digital gauges like the edge insight will support adding the sensors for EGT and fuel pressure to the unit directly if you want it all in one gauge. I'm sure plenty of others will chime in but this should give you some introductory information.

thanks Crims does the vgate or Torque pro allow you to read and or delete codes that pop?
torqe pro should, as for removing them its kind of hit and miss it seems, same for reading IIRC, there is a Torque pro link in my signature that should help answer any other questions you might have...
