Propane injection
I don't own a 6.7 (though I wish I did) I actually drive a 6.0 but I was looking for ways to improve fuel economy and the idea of propane injection came to mind... While reading into it a bit it seemed like the cost of the propane wouldn't be worth the fuel I would save so I decided against it but after reading about how it helps to burn fuel more completely I got to wondering if it would help prevent the dpf on newer trucks from clogging. If more of the fuel is being burnt I would think that there would be less crap to plug up the filter. I'm just curious but has anyone tried this and what thoughts do you guys have?

Good question... Even if it did produced zero soot, you are still going to regen. Some members here who pull heavy and in the mountains and used to passively regen that after so many miles they still "Regen". When I ran biodiesel, I used to regen a lot less frequently, but used more DEF. Wonder if propane produces more NOX in the exhaust?
Not too many DPFs clog in stock trim.
Anyhow - I won't be running propane, but looking forward to the responses nonetheless.
