So i did a full flush to my powersteering BUT now it only works to the left and not to the right. So now im really questioning why does it only work when i turn it left and not right?
So would that mean a new steering gear box? If so any suggestions? How easy would it be to replace this spool valve
If you have the time(and no money), I'm sure you could rebuild your steering box.
Otherwise, a cheap Autozone or equivalent reman unit would be a quick fix.
You can swap one out in a couple of hours; note that jacking the front wheels off the ground so you can line up the radius arm(I think that's what it's called) with the spline on the new box will make your life easier.
