Y Block Starter
I tried searching for this and came up with nothing so sorry if this has already been covered.
I want to get rid of the bendix drive on the starter and go to a conventional gear drives starter.
Has any one done this and what bits did you use ?
I assume you need the housing from a FE and what about the actual drive.
Thanks in Advance.

I have seen the high torque starters but want to use a Ford starter for appearance reasons.
