Help Recognize These

These are on a 1965 F600 at the front of the frame. I'm trying to figure out what exactly they are used for.

Here are two pics of the frame: I don't see anything like it in the pics. Appears to be homemade, but for what purpose, I dunno.

Do you have a picture of the radiator support area?

Look at 8130 in pic: This is: C1TZ-8130-A .. Radiator Mounting Spring ~ 4.20" free length / Obsolete

Could these springs be the rusted solid parts that resemble threads?

That's what I'm thinking they are. Do you know what exactly those bolts and springs were holding? Thanks for all the help.

The above and etc. parts are hard to make out in the pic, but with further research, were used with the radiators that used the C2TZ-16138-G radiator support:

1961/64 F100/250 2WD/4WD - 1961/66 F350/600 - 1965 F100/250 4WD - 1966 F250 4WD

Parts catalog pic description (from 1964/72 catalog) says 1964/66 F100/600, but these parts were not used on 1965/66 F100/250 2WD's or 1966 F100 4WD's.

They look like they are springs clogged up with rust. If you cant take one off, try hitting it with a wire brush.
