Possible 427/428? Please help
Me and a friend have come across an engine that we ended up acquiring and we would like to know what it is if anyone could help!
Head #: C4AE - 6090G
Block #: 1E25 - E
Let me know if any other info is needed! Thanks!

Welcome to FTE.
Run of the mill (but still good) 352-390 head according to:
332-428 Ford FE Engine Forum:
Different format there, you have to keep clicking to see conversations.
1E25 could be a date code, with:
1 = 1961
E = May, the 5th month
25 = 25th of that month.
Does this motor have two bolt engine mounts?
I can't be a 428 as those started in '66. It is probably a 352.
Are there three bolt heads on each side of the block just above the pan rail?
