Some progress, got the fuel tank out and the horn assembly off today. Steering wheel is being a @!*^#. Need to get that off so I can pull the cab easier. Steering wheel puller does not work on these. May end up breaking it all up.
Oh well, almost time for the Friday ritual of Jalapeno Margaritas and good mexican food at Casa De Reyes in Sweet Home.
I got the front and rear windows out. Started working on getting the doors off. Still need to remove the steering wheel but have not had any luck getting it to let loose. May try to work on it tomorrow if I have time after picking up branches.
Work on the truck for a couple of hours yesterday, Will finish taking the front suspension off later today. Got the drivers door off but the passenger door pins won't move. Oh well, I'll try again today, gave a good coating of PB blaster yesterday maybe it will work in and they will move today.
If PB Blaster doesn't do it, try Fluid Film. I'm a big PB Blaster fan, but after a recent project, I've decided that Fluid Film may just replace the dog as a mans best friend!
Good looking truck Andy, Looks like a great start to a fun project. Looking forward to more progress. Are you going back stock or something more custom?
Updating the suspension, tranny, engine and rear-end. Been working on a 351W with a C6 and a 9" to put in this. Still nee to pull the cab off before stating the frame work.
