WINDOW STICKER-anything useful here?

Got my Window Sticker today.

Anything useful on the window sticker that can help with status on my truck?
Noticed it ships by rail--good or bad? Possible to track?

Chat-------"In Processing"
Dealer-----"Build Week Oct 11"
Dealer-----"ETA 10/31"

What size fuel tank will this truck have? .......34?

TIMELINE:
8/23-order

From what I know...not really.
You get the final destination..=OK
Sticker was created 10-4-16
Its scheduled transit is via rail.
Its a retail order (because the Window Sticker is green.....blue is dealer stock)

That's about the only useful information I know of on the Window Sticker.

Nice truck. Congrats.

Thank you sir. Did not know green was retail vs blue for stock, I wondered about that but thought they were green until built then changed to blue. Thanks again for the info! My impatience is getting the best of me. Was discouraged when I saw shipped via "rail" as I've read on here where some were delayed in transit when shipped via rail.

Mine was scheduled via convoy (seems like that's the minority) even though it was heading up to Northern MN. ETIS populated the details a few days after the truck left the plant (aka status was changed to in-transit). It actually arrived 3 days early from the Ford Chat ETA. Somehow my dealer knew the day the truck was to be delivered. He called me in the morning and said it was out for delivery and would arrive sometime today. Good luck Jace and hopefully it won't be long now!

My 16 F150 sticker says rail but it came the whole way by truck.

My sticker was dated Oct 4th and is supposed to be built by the end of the week. Yours should be right behind it.

Also looks like you are in Oklahoma. Here is mine. You are only 200 or so behind me by your VIN

Thanks johndeerefarmer. Truck looks awesome! My build week from dealer is 10/11 so somewhere in between our VINS is probably the "Holiday" weekend. Looking at your sticker and......please tell me my truck has heated rear seats right? My kids are gonna kill me if not. Just noticed thats not on there and it IS on my email to the dealer. Hoping its standard on Platinum package maybe is why its not listed? I didn't order the dual alternators either but see its on there, must be a part of a package? What is tow tech bundle? I guess I should stop asking questions its too late to change anything but curious as to the window sticker differences.

BTW-I'm in California but the truck is being shipped to my place in Oklahoma. Cheaper taxes, licensing, etc. Truck will be there mostly anyhow. Way better deal on the truck than what I could negotiate here too.

With any luck my truck will go by convoy. Heard too many issues with stuff shipped by rail. Im in the trucking industry so Id prefer they get the business! lol Also, no way no how does Ford pay $1195 per truck to get these delivered. Thats an inflated price even to the furthest destination from KTP.

Getting close!

Heated seats are standard in the rear in the platinums, the alternators probably jumped on with either the supplemental cab heater if you added it, and or the upfitters.

I really do feel for the people who ordered months ago, but mine is out of whack also. I ordered essentially this same truck 11 days earlier than you, just got my VIN last week with no build date but an ETA of 11-24. What was your priority, did you order from a large or small volume dealer, pay off someone at the factory?

Small town dealer in Seminole, Oklahoma. (Closest dealer to my place there) I first chose a dealer in a nearby town where I grew up but the salesman would not return my call until AFTER I ordered this truck. Then it was all about "beating the price" on the other dealer which I refused to play. A return phone call would've gotten the sale but oh well, his loss. Anyhow, it was originally priority 80 (not sure where that puts it but doesn't sound too good) then the GM at the dealer talked to the rep and requested to "01 the order" or move it to priority 1. I'll post my complete timeline from what I was told from day 1. I'm pretty happy they stayed on track with what they originally told me 8-12 weeks.

8/23------placed order (F250 originally)
8/30------order picked up by Ford
9/13------requested either F350 or Heavy tow pkg to get the M275 rear axle (changed order to F350SRW)
9/16------dealer gave VIN & "build week" of Oct 10th
9/19------dealer says he called the rep last week to "01 the order"
9/27------dealer gave ETA of 10/31
10/3------dealer says status changed to "locked in" ETA still 10/31
10/5------window sticker pops up off research maniacs.com with VIN input

I must say my dealer has been great throughout the process. I deal with the GM and leave the salesgirl alone. She wants to help but has to ask the GM every time anyway so I shoot the GM a text once a week for an update. Takes him a couple days sometimes to get anything new but I always get a response. Great people.

I can't imagine sitting in limbo on an order like some of these guys have since April, I couldn't/wouldn't do it. I'd have to find something close as possible to my order and go buy it wherever it may be. Dealer stock is just starting to build so guys haven't had much choice in the matter until now but that's all changing. Seems these trucks are really starting to pop up everywhere.

Good luck on your order. Got my fingers crossed ETA sticks or improves on mine.

I finally logged on at a time when chat was available but all they will tell me is it shows "In Processing" so not much luck there for me. Would be nice if Ford had a better way of tracking your order from day to day.

My sticker said convoy, but the truck is coming by rail. So these have been inaccurate from what I have seen.
