I currently have bench seats in my truck, which is fine but I wanted to swap to the 40/20/40 style. I recently found a nice set, bought them and cleaned them. I believe there is some change hiding under the cup holder door and such. Can I just pop the trim around the center console? Or is there a better way to get it apart? I just don't want to break anything

That deal isn't meant to come apart. The pieces are melted together. My front has been apart however before I owned it. It can come apart but I'm not brave enough to try that.
That doesn't sound good. Maybe I should just leave it alone. I really wanted to be able to get any crap cleaned out of it, but not at the high risk of tearing it up

I could see if I can get mine apart and get you pics. It kept coming apart so I fixed it....maybe too well lol
it is held on with 2 or 3 clips on all 4 sides, most are so brittle they break when you try to remove them, if you can get something thin like a butter knife at each tab, all of them at the same time and release them they will come off. I have had luck releasing one at a time and than wedging that spot up a tiny bit and working my way around until all are released.
Well, I got it off. But it did break during the process. I was being slow and steady when it popped and broke. It is a good break do I believe I can epoxy it back together and still look good. I did find the 7 cents in change that was rattling around in there!
