Question gas mileage comparison
I am a new subscriber and I own a 1978 Ford E350 motorhome with 460 & C6. I usually get around 7 MPG using 87 octane and a light foot. My question: Do the 1980's TBI 460 engines typically produce more miles per gallon than the carburated engines of the '70s?

My truck used to get 4. I am kind of happy about getting 7, but most people still just give me a funny look and say a few expletives.
