Dash camera

Thinking about cutting the plug on my dash camera and hard wiring it. What would be a good circuit to tap into so it would come on with the truck running?

If the amp draw is very low, I'd likely use the same circuit the 'entertainment' equipment uses. A circuit that can handle radio/CD player draw should handle that of a camera with no problem, and it is ignition key switched. It will lose power during cranking, but you should not really be in motion while doing that.
