Sound proofing cab
What are some strategies to quiet down? I've placed a lot of butyl fat-mat type material over any sheet metal that wasn't factory soundproofed already, which about 50% of the metal was. Any other ideas?

They have both sound and heat insulation.

I get a lot of wind noise. Haven't done anything about it yet because I don't really care since I normally don't listen to the radio or anything other than the engine and wind noise, but it will make a big difference to R&R/replace the door seals.

I did not take any DB readings before & after as I was in a rush to finish before 2 week family vacation this past July (MN to New Mexico & back 3,400m). What I can tell you is the hood quieted down the engine noise I would say by 10-15% (not a lot but I think it was worth it). The 4 doors + rear of truck cut down road noise by at least 30% if not more. I can run my truck tomorrow at 60 mph & take a iPhone DB reading but would need to wait until Monday to use a pro-grade DB meter from work. I replaced the front speakers with Alpines & then a new Pioneer AVH-5800BHS touch screen deck. I hope to add more sound upgrades in the future. I have already purchased a small Alpine 4x50 watt amp & plan to get 6.5" Alpines separates for front & move 5x7 Alpines to the rear & then add 2-6" Bazooka powered subs in back. I can't use 8" without building a custom bracket to move rear seats forward roughly 1.5". Oh well.
Unrelated question, does your touch screen deck give you ability to run apps like torque? I'm loooking for one that will run android with torque but I'd love to somehow know which one, if any, will let the app start automatically when the power is pressed, or ideally just start up with the truck and go straight to the torque app. Also curios if I can run torque app and music at the same time.

The difference was noticeable, I think it was 3-4 db, might have been more, been a while.
I did the surgical tubing in the door trim first and saw no difference.
