Looks like the base of a Ford Emblem, wonder if it is the base plate for a tailgate emblem with the camera??? The rounded oval ends make me think this!

It's a 99 f250 super duty xlt
It is a used truck not sure how many people before me, it's located an the driver side A pillar. Idk about "custom" but there was stuff done to it ummm the headlights, tail lights, 3rd brake light and a aftermarket radio. There was 4 12" subs laid out a crossed rear seat. There is a viper alarm system that is hooked up but doesn't work and also truck didn't come with clicker that's about all I know as of right now.
