You guys may be tired of looking at these but this was my weekend project. Spent $200 for the grill, headlights, header panel, and electrical connectors off of a local parts truck with a blown engine.
Before
After
I had to loosen the bumper and drop the slotted connection down as far as it would go to get the header panel in and still had to trim just a slight amount off of the bumper top valance to make it fit. Grill went in just fine though. It touches the bumper on each side but I was able to make the bottom clips snap in. I still have to decide on what I'm going to do to fill in the small gaps left under the headlights from dropping the bumper down.
Agreed on the price. Thanks for the compliments. The bumper mod was oddly enough to fit the header panel, not the grill even after dropping the bumper down. Also, I may still try to find a 05-07 factory chrome bumper and want it to work right with the header and grill. The bumper on the truck I pulled the parts from had two major damaged areas or I would have grabbed it.
