I am planning on replacing 3 of the backup sensors as they are malfunctioning.
The part number for 2000 Excursion is
YL1Z15K859AA and are 130 each
The 2001-2005 excursion part number is
1L1Z-15K859-AA and is around the same price
The 2003-2005 part number is
4F23-15K859-AA and are only about 20 dollars each.
What is the difference between them? Could I use the 2003-2005 version on my 2000?
Purchased years ago off eBay so no current link.
Just search "Excursion back up sensor"
There is also a 3F2Z-15K859-BA sensor for the 2003-2005 Excursion.
A 4 pack of the latest no. 4F23-15K859-AA is $26.
Does anyone know if these are all basically interchangeable after the minor tang trim?

I believe, guess, the diff part #s per year have to do with whether the bumper is chromed or body color matched as the mounting/size is different.
The inner vs outer are also different sensor patterns, I think if you look at them the sensor is different, although they might fit in any spot.
