The guys that have been to the Central PA Truckstock know that the Hyner View Lookout and the road leading up the mountain were built by CCC men. Most PA state parks were built by the CCC.

 

There was a CCC camp about 3 miles from my house. The CCC road is still there with the name CC Camp Rd. It winds up one side of a small mountain and down the other.

 

California had the most CCC camps, more than 150. PA had 97.

Holy hell i'm back on! i got bumped off somehow years ago and could never get back on. sent about a dozen e-mails never got a reply. i had to reset my password, they made it up, i copy and paisted it, so i have no idea what it was. we'll see how long this lasts.i'll try to post a pic for old time sake. do i need a mask? i don't know whats cool anymore.
