the truck is a 1997 7.3 I have tested the HPOP it makes 600 psi at idle and 3000 when revved up but when you turn it over by key it only makes like 1 to 10 but if you hook it up to a truck and pull it then let the clutch out it fires right up runs great. Could it be the started or somthing in the ignition?

 

what RPM is engine when cranking?


is there oil in the HPOP over night?
What is low oil pressure when cranking?

 

Yes on the oil. I ordered a elm 327 bluetooth thing to hook up with the torgue pp or whichever one I go with. I'll let you know as soon as I get it

 

The thread you are responding to is 4 1/2 years old. It might be more helpful if you started your own thread with details of your problem. If your problem is simular to the O.P., your starter could be tired.
