Keyless entry honking twice on lock, remote start won't work.

Hello all!
I have a 2011 F250, with the Lariat Ultimate package that includes factory remote start.

Las week, I Got out of the truck, pressed the lock button twice (like I always do), but this time the horn honked loudly twice and the lights did not flash.. like a door was ajar. The interior lights are turning off and all doors are locking properly.
Remote start doesn't work.. I get one honk when I try that.
Opened and fully closed all 4 does and the hood.. still honked twice and no lights flash.
Start the truck.. no warning notification any doors are open.
Information center (under system check) also shows "Doors OK".
I tested all the door sensors by opening and closing each door individually with the truck running and I am getting the proper notifications the doors are open, and the notifications go away when the door is closed.. so everything seems to be working as designed.
I've also replaced the hood-pin switch thinking that may have gone bad but I'm still getting the same problem.
Not sure what's wrong with my truck.. any ideas?
(Truck is 100% stock)

I bet the hood sensor is not working. It either got unplugged, is misaligned, or went bad. But when I left it up, it behaved as you described.

Yep, hood switch.

There are several possible things that disable remote start but the hood switch is common. Last time it got me I just by passed it.

Hood. Probably the wrong type of pin switch or it's grounding.

I replaced the hood switch sensor, still getting the same problem.
Checked both switches with a voltmeter, it appears both switches are working properly and showing the hood as closes.

Did you replace the battery in your remote?

No, but both remotes are doing the same thing.
I can't even get the parking lights to blink by locking the doors via the door keypad like it usually does... Seems like the problem is in the truck and not the key fobs.

Okay, I'm totally easter egging here. maybe disconnect both batteries for a few minutes and see if the system will come back not confused.

Put truck in engineering mode and see if you are getting any codes. Even start the truck. if you don't have an obd code reader.

If you have the free for scan app and obd reader run a complete diagnostic test. It will go through all the trucks computers.

Figured it out guys. When I went to check the fuses (as mentioned by someone else the 6.7 Facebook group), I found that a dealer had added on their own security system (I guess it's just a shock sensor really).. one of the connectors came undone that plugged into it. I plugged it in and everything is working as designed. Thanks everyone for your help!
