After 10 weeks of back orders I got a tie rod.

After 10 weeks of missed deadlines by two of our popular vendors, I was thumbing thru a new Speedway Catalog and noticed they had a line of Tie rods and that looked pretty good ,(I was after a heaver than stock one)so I gave them a call, and BINGO after double checking eye to eye measurement's and the angle of the eyes, and Speedways tech's assurance that all the parts were in stock, I ordered a new SS Tie rod, SS ends and SS jam nuts. This was two days ago and today surprise the UPS truck pulled up with ,you guessed it my parts. Im very happy. I understand that many of our vendors are at the mercy of a common supplier so I don't blame them. Im just pleased to get parts B4 the rainy season starts. Now Im just waiting for the air fuel mixture gauge to arrive from Amazon and Ill be set. Thanks for listening, I know this isn't any big deal, but I felt like sharing.

Very cool, your one step closers to lift off. You must be getting excited , I am, and it isn't even my truck, it's yours.

I disagree. You have had that bent tie rod for quite some time and new shiny parts are always a big deal.
Now get it installed and drive.....drive straight.

I've got this thing for shiny parts, I don't know. The whole truck is like a truck a high school kid would have in the sixties without all the bondo. It's not for everybody ,but I love it. Heah while I've got everybody's ear I will say, be carful where you put the floor jack, that's how I bent the tie rod in the first place. Peace & Love, out.
