new tie rod
Today I finally looked under my truck at the tie rods and had someone turn the wheel to see if they were bad. I was pretty sure on was, and it turns out the long one on the right(not sure its exact name)is bad. Has anyone had to replace these?about how much am I going to be spending?thanks in advance.

You didn't say what kind of truck, but just for reference, tie rod ends for my 92 F150 4X4 were around $50 per side. This was for Moog parts.
In my opinion, I would stick with quality parts for the front end work, like Moog, Spicer, etc. I haven't had much luck with the cheaper stuff from parts houses.
