2007 Marainer Transmission Bolt Pattern
I have a 2007 Mercury Mariner with a 3.0 Liter V6 engine AWD. The transmission is giving me a problem. No shift into 2nd and 4th. Solenoid or band broken I think. Is the bolt hole pattern to attach the tranny to the engine different between the 3.0 V6 and the 2.3 I4?

That is what I thought. I had found one at a repair shop, same year, on a shelf, AWD but it had been attached to the 2.3 L. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the reply. I had an estimate of about $3400 for a rebuilt one installed.

$3400? Yep, that's what I paid 3 years ago, including an extended warranty.
My darned transmission died (different failure this time) two days after I got home from a double total knee replacement so I was in no shape to do anything except call a tow truck and a transmission shop.
