Opionions wanted

Hello all, my '96 is starting to leak fuel out of the valley and ive determined the fuel bowl needs rebuilding (pump was changed shortly before I got the truck at roughly 236k, at 287k now)

Now here is my question, would it be worth just buying a rebuilt bowl or rebuilding my old one?

I want to rebuild my ipr, hoses and everything else associated with bowl as well because I really don't want to pull it back off again. a new assembly runs roughly 300 bucks and I will have all new sensors, o rings etc.

rebuild is cheaper than buying new. I rebuilt mine and replaced pump too since it was 62 bucks on ebay.

I got all my bowl parts from 1994-1997 'OBS' 7.3L Powerstroke
I did injector orings since my fuel filter was dark.
turbo inlet rubber was split on mine and the other boots had cracks

Your Order Contains:
  • 1 x 7.3L Fuel Filter 94-98
  • 1 x Complete OBS Fuel Bowl Reseal Kit
(Type of Drain Valve O-rings: Fluorosilicone Drain Valve Orings)
  • 1 x Fuel Bowl Regulator Bypass Hose 1994-1995
  • 1 x Fuel Pump Hoses
  • 1 x Fuel Pump Upper Hose
  • 1 x Banjo Bolt Gasket Set
  • 1 x IPR Complete Re-Seal kit
  • 1 x Turbo / Pedestal O-rings
  • 1 x Garrett Compressor Housing Outlet O-ring 94.5-Early 99
  • 9 x Alliant Injector O-rings
  • 1 x Motorcraft Cam Position Sensor CPS 94-03
  • 1 x Riffraff Diesel 94-97 Turbo Intake and Y Boot Kit

E fuel is converting the stock mechanical fuel pump and fuel filter in the engine valley to an electric fuel pump and filters on the frame rails (generally)

There are several kits out there or you could piece together your own. Diy is typically more time consuming but you could save some cash
