You would think so given that this really is truck country out here. Most houses out here are in master plan communities. Older houses still generally have garage door openings that aren't any taller than what most homes are built with today. Standard height is about 7' for the garage door. If you step up to semi-custom or custom homes 8' and higher doors are an option at an increased cost.
