I have a '99 F-250, 4x4, Extended Cab, LB, V-10. I love the truck, it's a huge step up from the '94 Ranger I had. Mine has the Snow Plow Package on it. Can anyone tell me exactly what the difference is between mine and one without the package? I'm going to be needing tires pretty soon. Currently has 265/75/16s on it, looking at putting on 285 or 295s on it this time, probably BFG ATs unless anyone else has any suggestions/comments. I didn't know if the Snow Plow package make it sit taller or not? I'm assuming the springs are going to be stiffer. Mine sits pretty level right now, but I do have the shorter blocks in the rear. Any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks!
OK, Thanks guys! So that would maybe explain why mine does sit pretty level aready. Didn't know what the difference was. Probably the cheapest leveling kit yet....
I guess I was really wondering, since my truck is stock,
what was the additional equipment added to allow for a Blade.
plus I wouldn't mind having it a little more level, but at times I do haulbricks and Landscaping blocks, so a don't want my nose in the air, when I have a load either. 1 1/2 might be all I need.
7 or 8 foot plow is no problem for a super duty.. 9 foot well maybe. my local spring shop has these extra leafs for the front for about $60.00 I think It will raise about 1.5 inches and stiffen up the ride considerably I think they are from ford. He says it trashes the ride.....
