For those with 5TH wheels

Then again, you said you weren't kidding? Maybe you better go back in the bunker until self driving cars come out to make sure you stay out of any situations where a lawyer might get involved. Wait, but then you could get sued for trusting and even using a self driving car? Oh man, your never going to be safe... What to do... YIKES!!!
Yes, I'm sure. What you didn't notice when you added the LED headlights to the build is that it automatically added BLIS. Watch the price jump and you will see it adds a lot more than the headlight upgrade cost. Then scroll up and notice that BLIS is now selected and marked as "included." The reason for this is that the LED tail lamps that come with the LED headlamp option include the BLIS radar. So to get one, you must get the other. This was discussed back when the order guide first came out...

I have one saved with the title, "Final" as of now. I have spend a wee bit of time on there though...
Oh, check out my Forscan thread in the 6.7 section. I'm unlocked now...
I've done a few build and prices too. I really wish Ford would offer a monotone option on the lariats. I really don't like the chrome bumpers and the Platinum isn't an option because I don't really like it's wheels and tailgate. I guess I'll just have to find some take-offs to have painted when the time comes again.
I did a few calculations about bed rail height, and it appears that the SRW F350 6.7 4x4 crew lwb and F450 DRW will be very close in my case. With 6500# on the rear axle, bed floor heights (~21.1" below rails)... Specs from:

SRW w 20" wheels
Loaded at spring capacity (7230#) = 33.5" (32.2" w/ 17" wheels + 2.6"/2 for the 20" wheel)
Loaded at 6500# (assuming both are on the 1400#/inch 3rd spring stage) = 34"
F450
Loaded at spring capacity (9900#) = 32.1"
Loaded at 6500# (assuming both are on the 2152#/inch 3rd spring stage) = 33.7"
Even though the F450 starts much lower (36.9" vs 39.3"), when loaded to 2600#, they are both about the same height.
This means my rail will be about 34+21.2=55.2 when I'm hooked up. I'll be 2" nose high to get the 6" rail clearance with my 59" overhand height - not too bad.

After conversations with DRV and Ford the solution for me is to raise the rv 3" to get everything level again. Lowering the rear of truck became a pandoras box of related lack of clearance problems..Bump stop, helper springs, brake calipers...and the front can only fe lowered with new springs....
That is the funniest post I've read in a long time. Thanks for the laugh with my morning coffee...

I bet you're one of those guys that's wants a manual choke, bias ply tires, manual drum brakes, and a lever on the column to adjust the timing like a Model T!
Seriously....you turn off or disable any safety feature and you're liable. That's the first thing they do after an accident.....download the details out of the CPU.

invstr55, Do you know how your 2015 F350 bed height compared to a 2015 F450? Reason I ask is that we've got a 2009 F450 and towing a 36 RSSB3 MS with a factory added 2" height adj to get over the 2009 F450 bed rails. It wouldn't hurt us to have our trailer's nose raised a little. We've noticed the higher rails on the SRW 2017s we've seen, so far, but don't think a higher pickup bed & rails would hurt us as much as it did you. Thanks! David
The bed rails on the 2015 350 and 450 were the same height, the 17 is 3" taller from the ground. According to DRV the max nose high that is acceptable to the is 1". Since I am fixing it i will go to level...

Thanks! That'll put us with a too-nose high trailer no matter what we do with the hitch, too. If we get a 2017 F450, we'll probably ditch the trail air bags and go with MOR/ryde IS. We've had MOR/ryde IS on an Excel and figured at some point I'd have enough of the leaking airbags and switch over. I guess no one realized DOT isn't increasing bridge clearances nor trimming trees when designing the new Ford. David
