2016 Ford F250 6.2L hood dents

I have a 2016 F250 with the 6.2L gas motor. I've only had the truck about 3 month have about 6,500 miles on it and really like it so far.

The only thing is the other day I noticed a large crease down the center of my hood. I know for a fact there had not been any humans or animal on my hood to cause this.

Then a couple days after that two more dents on either side of the front center of the hood showed up.

Could this be from heat? The insulator on the underneath side of the hood?

Has anyone else had this happen to them before?

Pics? My hood is perfect. 2011 6.2. And it reaches near 40C here in the summer with intense sun. Also I trailer in that heat often so my truck certainly gets warm.

Kind of hard to see with the pearl white but you can see how the hood is wavy now.

I can't see it from your photos but if something is off take it back to the dealer. My hood was perfect when I bought my truck.

Thanks y'all. I did take it back to the dealership and they said they won't warranty it.

From the pics I can't really see it at all. I'd think if it was an actual crease they wouldn't warranty it as the only logical thing would be some kind of external damage?

I know I too guard my truck like a madman and do my best to not leave it unattended in a public setting. But is it possible some punk screwed up your truck somehow?

I have two small dents in my hood but I think they came from a huge icicle falling from my second story roof eave.

I'm starting to think that it could be some neighborhood kids that didn't want to say anything.

My truck is black & it bakes in the sun every day, no signs of dents or warping. I sucks but you might have to file an insurance claim. Metallic paints are fairly expensive.

My 2016 also has small dents in the hood. 1000 miles on mine. Not big enough for me to care though.
