instrument cluster circuit board problem
Mice in the truck behind the dash. In addition to chewed wires the mouse urine destroyed the circuit board traces. This all relates back to a charging issue.
Is it true that if the circuit isn't completed running to and thru' the trace leading to and away from the bulb for the idiot lite (battery indicator) that the alternator won't charge? I can only assume then that if the bulb was burned out, the same condition would occur. Something having to do with the excitor wire.
