I've got an Autometer gauge in the E4OD test port as well. Runs about 140-150 around town. Has the factory trans cooler towing package as well. When I pull a 2000lb trailer it's around 180-200 deg.
Where's the best place for a C6 to put a gauge sensor? BTW I also installed a B&M deep capacity tranny pan, it has a hole for a sensor. Is that the best place?
I think the pan is the worst place you can put the sensor. That will always show you the coolest temperature in the trans. The test port on the side of the trans is the best place, in my opinion.
