Oil Temp Sensor Location?
I have a sandwich-style oil cooler plumbed into my pickup's engine, and I have finally acquired a temp gauge kit to tee into one of the external lube lines...the question is, which one, supply or return? Do I want to monitor hot exit temps, or cooled re-entry?

Oil Temp Sensor Location?
I've always been told to monitor the temp. as it leaves the block or tranny before the cooler. This is the temp that the oil/fluid is in operation. Would be nice to know the drop across the cooler-but, I think the operational temp. is more important unless you would run 2 seperate sensors, one before and one after. Mine all are before the coolers.
