Im back with a 65 F100 engine question, Hola!!
Im back after a wile.
I recently purchased this 1965 Ford F100 and I have an engine question please.
The Engine is a 352 V8 with 4brl intake and Im planing in rebuiltding this engine .
I tock it apart and the Block number is 352, the Crank check out for a 352, I read the number in the Crank, its the T2.
The intake and heads is what im interested on to make sure this is an autentic 4 brrl Engine.
HEAD numbers: C8AE-H
INTAKE NUMBERS: 3K17, C4SE 9425A
Hopefully some one can help me with the identification of what is it that I have here, I want to make sure I have a original 4brrl engine and not something that some one just swaped the 4 brrl intake on it.
the Truck Vin # : F10YR746780
the transmission is 3 on the tree. Short bed, simple truck.
Thanks, and it's great been back to the forum.

Now I just want to know a little more about the heads, is there a way to tell from 2 Brrl, to 4 brrl difference like on the small blocks 302 and 289 heads?
I have this entire engine all taken apart and cleaned, the only bad part that I found was a Lifter the lock clip came of and the lifter came apart causing some clicking in the engine, but everything was nice and tight, even the pushrod was still in place.
I forgot to mention, This is not the engine in the Truck, Im sorry, this engine was purchased on craigslist to replace the stock engine (stock looks like a 352 with a 2 barrel carb), the engine in this truck I was trying to get it started but found solid dirt clogging the fuel line, and Carb, truck wasnt running for years, I removed the fuel pump and noticed the timming chain with lots of slak, (pushing it with a screw driver from the fuel pump oppening in the block), I may just get a new timming chain gear set , fuel pump, and what ever it takes to get the stock engine running before I spend any extra money in this Other Engine that I purchased with the bad lifter.
Thanks so much.

352 cast on the block is meaningless, as it's a foundry mark, all FE engines were cast as 352's. So, the engine could be a 352, 390, or?
1958/64 FE engines were only installed in cars, have rounded valve covers without holes in them for oil caps/smog valve, have an engine oil fill tube on the right front side.
Since these engines were only installed in cars, they have a different bolt pattern on the block where the rubber insulator attach than 1965/76 FE engines.
