ZF6 in an Excursion?

The V10 has a np273 with a has a 31 spline input , You need to swap the input shaft to a 34 spline to mate to the zf6 output . A new input gear is about $100
I think the 6.0 equipped trucks with the 5r100 trans had the 34 spline input np273 if you want to swap the whole case.
Obviously you will want to verify this, been awhile since I considered doing it.
