I have a crunchy trans. I would like to rebuild a np435 that came out of earlier highboy with divorced transfer case. Then swap it into my 78 crewcab. If I tear both down to just the gearbox are we back to apples to apples. Are all the input and output shaft spline count and diameter equal. Through the many years of production. Tia
