Died while driving - IDM??

Last update on this one. Truck is running fine. Opened the old IDM to see if I could dry it out for a spare......

I could smell the burn as soon as I cracked the lid open

If you look real close you can see the solder burned out.

I'm a Ford guy, but every now and then I want to kick a Ford Eng. in the nads, and a "computer" in a drip area is one of those times.

Maybe that will help keep the water off of the IDM?

Oh wow! Sucks to see but comforting to actually find a problem when you're having trouble. Better than chasing electrical issues which I hate with a passion!
