I really liked the two-tone nature of the prior King Ranch interiors (I owned a 2013 KR). Now the King Ranch and Platinum interiors seem too monotone and boring (the similarly shaded skunk stripe down the middle of the Platinum seats does little to break it up). The Lariats have more character IMO.
But even more concerning than the monotone is that the entire interior of the 2017 King Ranch appears to be a, well, nasty brown. It appears that the carpet, dash, leather, roof, etc., etc. are, well, brown.
Has anyone actually been inside a 2017 King Ranch? Is it better than the pictures indicate?
I sat in a Lariat F250 and loved it. I then sat in a King Ranch version and personally, I thought the interior looked fantastic. Just a stunning truck. I screwed up my budget, but it's the truck I need*.

Nice truck, have you tried out the massaging seats and cool seats, your thoughts, thanks.
I think the cooling works great, better than my '15, seems like I feel it in my back more, but its a 3 speed unit so you have good control over the cool output.
Here are 3 pics I took today, full overcast, just stopped raining a couple of hours ago. 1 pic is taken in the front of the barn which is open and w/out the flash and you can see how its flat, washed out, the other 2 are with the flash on, Apple iPhone 7+
Clearly it does not look Purple, I like the color think it a very good looking interior, I like the piping in an offset color and the dash treatment. Which is not shiny, great for driving in the S Tx sun...
