My neighbor has a KR. Its nice leather for sure, but its not really that soft, its like a horse saddle in color and feel, maybe it will soften up over time. I can't comment on Lariat leather, but 'typical' car leather seats such as in our Sable are softer feeling to me than the KR.

HUGE difference. The KR leather is like a what you would find on nice leather couch at mountain lodge. I found the lariat leather not quite as nice when I looked at the two side by side. The KR leather will require more upkeep as the lariat leather looks to be more durable. The KR leather is about as nice as you can find in any luxury car. It will stain easier than the lariat leather so stick with the lariat leather if you will use the truck in a rougher environment. Just my $.02
