I received part# 5C3Z-3613562-AAA and it does NOT fit the console in my 2000 Exc XLT. It is too big and the 2 tips that hold it in place are oriented the wrong way. I would be glad to ship it to someone who needs it for what I paid. I am guessing it's for a SD.

oops sorry, i'm talking about the back tray..

CharleyG...that's interesting. Sorry to hear it didn't work out.

I have yet to completely snap mine in but the pins seem to be right and it looks very similar underneath to my original....

Somewhat of an update. I took some time tonight to spray the part I got. It seems that the color of some parts inside the Ex vary. The Persidio dye I have been using that matches the dash, sill plate..and the back of the console...does not match the lid and big part of the console. It just wasn't close enough....

My wife suggested originally that dye this new part black as the factory cupholder in that location was black. Well, that's how it ended up. Used the same satin black as on my dash. Considering all the black trim in the truck, (and the fact that the original part in that place was black) it worked out just fine.

I'll snap it in for good tomorrow once it's fully dry. I know you guys like pics...

A final I promise) update.

Got a length of the black, rubber, ribbed carpet runner from Lowes. Cut it to fit inside the tray and backed it with self adhesive thin foam. (Like craft foam sheet stuff)
I know, I need professional help...

Looks great! Did any of the other dealers that showed/claimed to have one ever get back to you? I think this combined with the later dash pull-out "clamp" cupholders would make for the best combo for my typical needs.
