I had my truck broken into a while back and had the removable console tray stolen along with the $1+ in change. The replacement tray I got is not the same as the one I had, as I remember it, and no one believes me as the one I got is the ONLY part# for that part in Ford's inventory for all SDs with a floor console from 1999-2007. So I need a photo of the tray to prove a point. Thanks.

How are they different from the Excursion's front center console? Does it have coin holder and slots for cassettes or something like that?

No, it is F81Z-19A090-AA. That is the only part number they had on record for the tray for 1999-2007. This part number has the coin tray separate. I will have to buy that later on, but what I am saying is that the whole tray is different from what I had before. In fact, that tray I had had the coin slots built into the tray an was not a separate piece, as well as my original tray was heavier plastic than the new flimsy thing I got. If someone would just snap a photo...

They probably did a "running change" on the parts or replaced the old die with a slightly different new die so the parts are different. I've seen it with other parts also. The part number stays the same but the part itself is slightly different. I would watch Ebay. Just keep in mind the guy at the parts counter pretty much always thinks there right even if you have proof they are wrong. I went through that myself already.

 

Or we have customers who think they know more then we do...

I can get the part number for the coin holder if needed since I had to buy mine separately.
