Yeah, there's two grey consoles on ebay right now. I'm tempted to get one and paint it to match my interior, but that's kinda cheesy. I've called every junk yard in Seattle, Spokane, and California that I could find a phone number for--nothin'! Man, I thought a console would be easier to find.
Hi MUDE1. I was at a couple of j-yards last month. I was surprised at how many Broncos they had. Unfortunately i didn't see anything I liked, but there were some consoles. I think I even saw a blue one. Now the thing is that i don't know if these places remove and ship for ya. Also, these places are all the way in New England. The names are: Holland Uses Auto Parts 978-667-9235 and Jack's Used Car Parts 978-663-3269. Let me know if you need any help. It's not a big deal to go to these places. And yes, this gal doesn't mind getting dirty at man-town.
I bought a console about 6 months ago for my Bronco and never put it in. I guess I was holding out til...well, til I stopped being lazy. I bought it off E-bay. It is out of an earlier bronco....86-87 maybe. it is black and in REALLY good condition. I got it and cleaned it up all pretty like. I will see what I can do about getting a picture of it...but I would be willing to part with it. It is just taking up room on a shelf. Interested? If not, I won't even bother trying to borrow a digital camera.
You could also check some of the aftermarket companies like Tuffy. I personally prefer the stock console, but some swear by the Tuffy. Especially if you remove the top.
