Stickergate / Rear GAWR on SRW 350 is only 6340#???

Good thing I got my order in before they killed it!!! ETA: 10th of never...
Seriously though, let's keep an eye on Ford's specs. They've changed a few times before. It could happen again.
So, from what we've seen for a theme on the SRW 350's so far:
20" AT = 6340#
20" AS = ?
18" AS = 6780#
18" AT = 7230#

What makes no sense about today's updates to Ford's ratings is that they rate the rear axle differently between 2x4 and 4x4. What in the world does that have to do with anything? Can you not get AT tires on a 2x4? Maybe that's it? And, why are there two separate ratings for the DRW 350 4x4 without differentiating what's what? Those web pages still have issues and need a lot of clarity to what is correct...

The ratings between 18" and 20" you posted are so different that I'm reconsidering going back to 18". I like the look of the 20" but I can live with 18". The 18" are less expensive too!

A string of four letter words was just uttered aloud by me. I thought I had read that the 20" wheels had a rating just as good at the 18". My order goes in this week. I thought I was good with the 20" wheels, but now, maybe not. I was also going with the All Season tires instead of the All Terrain.

The AT 20's are supposed to get the full 7230# rating. What we've been seeing is stickers that go against Ford's published specs. As to the AS vs. AT 18's, Ford decided to have a slightly different size tire for the AS which have a lower rating which will give them the 6780# GAWR rating. All that said, you're not safe with any option right now as AT 18's have come through with stickers of 6780# as well. If your concerned, I'd hold off on ordering until we get some reports that Ford is correcting the misprinted stickers and has corrected their system so that new trucks being built no longer have this issue.

A regional dealer just received a fully loaded Platinum F350. He is going to take pics, including stickers, and send them to me today. I believe it should have the AT 20s, so we will have one more to add to the pile.
If I don't repost the stickers, there is a good chance it has a sticker showing 7,230 ... and I just might be on my way to buy it before you all get a chance! lol

The fiasco has probably ended but the delivery pipeline is still full of trouble makers. We have to wait for the gumballs being put into the top of the machine to make their way to the bottom, so to speak. I hope that when I put my quarter in and get my cherry flavored gumball, it doesn't taste like a lemon. Lemon, see what I did there...
Wow, way overboard on the gumball metaphor.
