Seriously though, let's keep an eye on Ford's specs. They've changed a few times before. It could happen again.

So, from what we've seen for a theme on the SRW 350's so far:

20" AT = 6340#
20" AS = ?
18" AS = 6780#
18" AT = 7230#

All we need is one sticker showing the 20" wheel/tires and a 7230 GAWR. That manufacturing date will be the turning point where the correction was made. We can probably assume that all other door stickers will be correct after that.

What makes no sense about today's updates to Ford's ratings is that they rate the rear axle differently between 2x4 and 4x4. What in the world does that have to do with anything? Can you not get AT tires on a 2x4? Maybe that's it? And, why are there two separate ratings for the DRW 350 4x4 without differentiating what's what? Those web pages still have issues and need a lot of clarity to what is correct...

A string of four letter words was just uttered aloud by me. I thought I had read that the 20" wheels had a rating just as good at the 18". My order goes in this week. I thought I was good with the 20" wheels, but now, maybe not. I was also going with the All Season tires instead of the All Terrain.

The ratings between 18" and 20" you posted are so different that I'm reconsidering going back to 18". I like the look of the 20" but I can live with 18". The 18" are less expensive too!

I understood that the 20" tires had a higher rating but when placing my order I found that they were not available with the camper package due to the wheels not having a high enough rating. Makes me wonder how much tolerance there is between max tire rating and the max wheel rating. Seems to be pretty slim.

The AT 20's are supposed to get the full 7230# rating. What we've been seeing is stickers that go against Ford's published specs. As to the AS vs. AT 18's, Ford decided to have a slightly different size tire for the AS which have a lower rating which will give them the 6780# GAWR rating. All that said, you're not safe with any option right now as AT 18's have come through with stickers of 6780# as well. If your concerned, I'd hold off on ordering until we get some reports that Ford is correcting the misprinted stickers and has corrected their system so that new trucks being built no longer have this issue.

A regional dealer just received a fully loaded Platinum F350. He is going to take pics, including stickers, and send them to me today. I believe it should have the AT 20s, so we will have one more to add to the pile.

If I don't repost the stickers, there is a good chance it has a sticker showing 7,230 ... and I just might be on my way to buy it before you all get a chance! lol

Not going to buy this one based on these stickers. This has the 20" ATs, but has the 6,780 rawr rather than the 6,340. Confusion.

That front GAWR is the 6.2 rating I believe. Standard on a 6.7 is 5600 and plow prep is 6k. The rear continues to amaze as well. A fiasco indeed.

The fiasco has probably ended but the delivery pipeline is still full of trouble makers. We have to wait for the gumballs being put into the top of the machine to make their way to the bottom, so to speak. I hope that when I put my quarter in and get my cherry flavored gumball, it doesn't taste like a lemon. Lemon, see what I did there...

Wow, way overboard on the gumball metaphor.

I wonder why the front is 5200 on that 6.7? Due to short bed?
