2011 Ford Ranger

Not sure if this is the correct form to post this on, but I own a 2011 Ford Ranger. Its brand new everything under the hood is in brand new condition only 75k miles. Yesterday I go to start the truck up with it just sitting for a day or so and it does that battery clicking sound. So I pop the hood check the connections they are all good. I jump start the truck and let the battery build up I though I might of just left something on in the truck to cause the battery to die. When I get home form using the truck I turn it off and turn it back on to make sure its all good now. It started perfect. This morning I go out to make sure its still fine and starts good and it starts but it sounded like it took a bit longer than normal to start. It could just be me but i'm not sure. I'm not sure if I have a battery issue because I dont leave anything on in the truck I make sure. Today when I get home i'm going to try to start it and see if it will start. If it does the clicking again I believe I have a bad battery, but its brand new looking I Just bought this truck less than a week ago from a dealer. Thank let me know your comments on this!

A jump start is OK in an emergency but the battery really needs to be charged to 100% with a dedicated charger as soon as possible and then load tested, to see if the battery is defective.

How old is the battery, 5 or 6 years? Best to get it tested. A defective battery can damage the alternator.
