Do you have access to a garage or someplace heated you can put the truck in.

I just replaced the battery on my truck and it had 880 CCA @ -20 writen on it and 1000@ 0 I hope this helps you.

My truck is a 92 with the 300-6

Even if the battery is dead, it should be able to jumpstart. It would die shortly afterwards, but still.

Wait, do you have power to your lights? The clicking you're describing sounds like a dead starter.

Get the 1000 CCA and get a battery charger with an Engine Start and a 100 ft extension cord.

Almost all stores now a days that sells a battery has an electronic helper device which you just need to enter the year, model, engine size, etc.

The battery charger with an Engine Start have save me many times with my car/truck and especially our cars with diesel engine.

When you are looking up the battery, just skip to the diesel motor and buy that size battery.
