Mirror identification - not a type 9

Is this an aftermarket side mirror or a Ford issue? I've seen these on a couple of dents now. Searched a few mirror threads but no luck thus far.

^ The above TYPE 9 mirror does not fit on the door properly, so it's probably a "gypo."

See pic below: All the genuine Ford TYPE 9 mirrors have the round device between the upper arm and bracket which activates the "Swing-Lock" feature.

There are FOUR different TYPE 9's for 1975/79 Econolines; 8 different TYPE 9's for 1973/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco.

The span between the upper/lower brackets, shape of and style of the mirror heads is the difference.

It may be for a '80-'96 bodied truck.
