240 to 390
Ok, So I have the 390 on hand, and have gotten it completely rebuilt... Im replacing the puny 240, and wondering what I need to do to the truck.. of course an adapter for motor mounts...right? and would adding larger front end springs be necessary? What do I need to do? Help me out guys! Thanks!

Not sure if the pic helps; out of the 1965-1966 Ford f100-F250 Illustrated facts and figures? I can attempt to post info on the F250, and or, the Camper Special if needed.
I swapped the 240ci for a 302ci and kept the original coil springs; probly not a reasonable comparison to a 352/390? My 65 that came with the 240; the 65 with the 390, VIN on both indicate same GVW 5000 lb? Perhaps more knowledgeable member will chime in and clarify?
