Wow. Someone says "slow to start", and there's a stampede to the GPs in summer.
Delayed ICP will do exactly the same thing (like from a leaky HPOP reservoir check valve). OBDII app and log the battery volts, RPMs, IPR, ICP, and FIPW. OBDII tools link and last link in my signature will help here.

Yea I just did new icp and rebuilt hpop. No leaks. Batts good. Cranks fast. Drives and idles normal. Just takes extra few seconds to fire. One glow plug ohm was way off. All others in spec. No codes
Now that you mention it that is odd. I was getting 2 codes, 1 for number 6 glow plug and 1 for number 4. I get a bit of white smoke on start up but no delay. If it was a glow plug issue you would be getting codes. I wouldn't replace anything just yet. Have you checked the basics? Oil level/age, fuel filter etc?
I seem to remember something like this happening when my starter was going....

I have a new fuel filter I will install and check oil level when I get home later from work. Thanks
I would lean (at this point) toward the starter going. Mine started taking longer to start and then you could actually hear the starter slowing down and then not working. I thought it was batteries and such....
Somewhere down the road someone is going to read this and learn about low oil level and other possible problems if it's not.
Yea big monkey off my back. Moving to Oregon in few weeks and need this truck to haul stuff there. I have never let it get that low before. Will never again
Not trying to hijack but I been wanting to do the GPR light mod and was curious if we have a wire schematic or Anything like that posted up to here?
negative of the light or LED goes to ground, positive goes to the output side of the glow plug relay.
then put the light wherever you want it. i mounted mine in the triple gauge pod.
