Can I pull a CCtest on an early "99
I have a early '99 F350. Can I pull a CCT with AE? Right now I don't have a No.1 cylinder grid, 2 thru 8 do not show any response. AE CCT works fine on late '99s.

Yes, a CCT should run on an early 99. What are you referring to as a "cylinder grid?"

I have run the CCT on my E99 with AE and it seemed to work fine.

I'm referring to the PID. When I bring up 1 thru 8 pid, I have no number 1. 2 thru 8 will display, but there seems to be no activity on any of them.

So what would the most likely cause of not being able to run a CCT, seeing that others are able to?

If the test fails to complete, you should get a code. What exactly is happening when you run the test?

You are trying to run the test at idle, correct?
