I have seen on several parts pages they breake the parts as 99 or 99.5-2000 year. I am looking at several 99-2000 F350 PSD trucks and need to know what's the differance on the 99 year and how do I tell if a truck is a 99 or 99.5
Well besides a VIN number break down which i do not know. I think that you can tell by where the Powerstroke diesel badging is. YOu guys correct me on this but, if the diesel badge is on the front fender where they now place the v-8 or v-10 badges it was a 99. If it is on the drivers and passengers doors and has 2 red stripes under "powerstroke" its a 99.5. Im pretty sure thats right. I believe in 2001 they eliminated the 2 red strips and just left them chrome.
