I have a 1994 ford bronco eddie bauer 5.8. So the front U joints came out while i was reversing so i took my front drive shaft off..drove it without it for a while. I finally have the time to put new ones in so i put my driveshaft back in and turn my 4x4 on and it completely locks up. I go to take it out but its under extreme pressure..so when I finally managed to free one of the u joints The drive shaft literally crashed down to the floor and left a decent mark in the road. I thought I may of put it on wrong..so i put it on the other way. Nope. still same problem. What does this mean? Could it by my drive shaft? Please help!! Thank you!
do the ujoints move freely? did you grease up the slip joint as well? are the front axle ujoints binding up? there is a specific way they are supposed to be installed to make sure this isnt happening.
also tell me your not engaging 4wd on the pavement and driving around. this needs to be done on the gravel or dirt/grass etc.. you will ruin the Transfercase

I did not grease the slip joint up, and yes the ujoints move freely, not sure what you mean by binding up though. Maybe You could direct me to a good video or walkthrough description of how to properly install it? I only engaged the 4x4 on the pavement to see if it worked or not.
****..I just remembered the day when my U joints came off my front drive shaft causing me to remove it..It was raining that day so I was driving around with my 4x4 on..including on the highway for a good amount of time..Could I have ruining my transfer case? If so wouldn't it cause other stuff to not function right?

Reason: remembered Some thing
if the front driveshaft was off and you had the Tcase in 4wd no harm should occur.
grease the slipjoint
make sure your ring/pinion has plenty of fluid along with the Tcase. with the front driveshaft off, front hubs locked and truck in Neutral will it roll? you should see the front pinion turning as well.
