I have searched but I am not good at finding things. Easy question with hopefully an easy answer. I have a 79 Bronco and my rear springs are sagging badly.
Will 73-79 f250 2x or 4x leaf springs fit? Spring eye to spring eye and center pin. I think f150 springs will be to light for my Bronco. Maybe not. I tow a small trailer, MAX 3500-4000 pounds. It is 12', single axel. I have towed this much twice in 11 years.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you Chris
Thank you Tedster9 for the quick answer. I was thinking of using some springs from the junk yard because the local yard has many of the trucks there with the beds already off. I am heading there this weekend for something else. I know to get both sides and to use them as a pair.
F150 springs will be rated for heavier use than Bronco springs. And should be a direct bolt in. F250 springs even if they do "fit" will make the rear end so stiff you can barely drive it on the road. You dont want the tires to be the suspension.
